A passionate performer since the age of eight, Alexis Raphael discovered that the world of musical theatre was the perfect place for her. She has studied pop, jazz and musical theatre voice at Big Voice Studios with various coaches, such as Elaine Overholt, Chris Tsujiuchi and Louisa Burgess since 2011, as well as studying pop and pop/rock voice with Zack Werner from 2014-2016. She trained in classical and choral music and performed in classical, pop and jazz chamber choirs from 2013 until 2017 in the vocal arts program at Westmount Collegiate Institute. At age 15, she started On - Camera Acting Training with Lewis Beaumander and Jacob Kraemer at Lewis Beaumander Acting Studio in Toronto.
Out of high school, Alexis relocated from Thornhill to Brockville as she continued her journey at St. Lawrence College's Musical Theatre Performance program! Select credits at SLC include: The Addams Family (female LGBTQ+ Lucas Beineke), Sweet Charity (Daddy Brubeck/Fandango Dancer), Jesus Christ Superstar (U/s Jesus/Priest #3/Ensemble), and The Little Mermaid (Princess #4/Ensemble).
Alexis hopes to create a safe space for humans of all kinds in this world through her love for storytelling.
